Every year thousands and thousands of
students enroll themselves in numerous coaching centers with the
shear believe that the guidance provided there would really assist them to get
past the difficulty of the entrance examination (CAT, etc.). And it cannot be
completely denied that most percentages of aspirants who clear the tough
entrance examinations got their training from any good coaching institute.
As the exams are around the corner, all the
students go through a period of a lot of stress.
CAT is one such tough
examination which really needs the assistance of a reputed coaching center. But
selecting a coaching center is one tough decision to make. Before making this
important decision, it is advisory that the following information should be
accumulated. Information like:
●
The year in which the organization
got established.
●
The infrastructure and
environment provided to the students.
●
The knowledge and experience of
the teachers in charge.
●
The type and quality of study
materials provided.
●
The fee and course session.
Here are some ways through which you can
cope up with exam stress -
1.
Your Surroundings:
Finding the right environment to study is
important. Having a desk space that is common is always better. Some people
prefer settling down in a café with free Wi-Fi, while some may prefer the quiet
of a library, others the comfort of home. It’s good to find a place that feels
right and gives you a sense of calm, because these two variables can directly
affect your state of mind.
In the same way selecting a better coaching
institute can also reduce your stress of exams.
Here are some good CAT coaching institutes in Dadar
(Mumbai) -

2.
Meditation:
Meditation is a very simple technique. If
you practice it every day even for just 10 minutes, it will help you focus
clearly. It is scientifically believed to help you cope up with exam pressure.
It not only relieves you out of stress, but also relaxes your mind, helps you
overcome depression and anxiety. There are a number of ways to meditate. One of
the simplest ways is to just sit in a relaxed position with your eyes closed
and observe your breathing. There are other mindfulness ways which you can watch
and learn on YouTube.
3.
Take time off
Taking breaks is very important to keep
calm and feeling steady. Usually I like dividing the work that I have to finish
in the entire day and then proceed. When I have accomplished my goal for the
day, I close my laptop and make a cup of tea, or eat a snack. Going for a walk
while listening to your favorite music can make a huge difference. When we take
a break, we are suddenly re-habitalising ourselves with the physical world.
4.
Exercise
Nobody gets time during exams to go for
exercising, but the fact is that the students are so exhausted during this time
that the body needs some physical exercise. Exercising is considered vital for
mental health. If our body feels better, so will our mind. Endorphins are being
produced by the exercise and physical activities—which is a chemical in the
brain that acts as natural painkillers—and also improves the ability to sleep,
which in turn reduces stress. It is not necessary to exercise for long hours;
you can even go for jogging or cycling around. Doing these early in the morning
helps you breathe even better in the fresh air.
5.
Sleep
Many of us compromise a lot on sleep,
especially during exams. It does no justice to the students if they sleep for a
very minimal time. Most of the students do not sleep at all a day before the
exam. As we stress more about our exams, getting to sleep becomes more
difficult.it can even lead extreme sleep disorders. It is recommended to be
strict with your sleep hours and go to bed in a timely. The virtues of a good
night’s sleep during exam season should not be underestimated. Sleeping well
helps in coping with exam stress.
Stress doesn’t help you do well in exams.
Remember that your exams are not as important than you are to yourself. Make
yourself a priority and don’t keep your health at stake. Follow these tips even
when your exams are not near and you are good to go. Good luck!
